A single-mirror retrofit brought ring-core performance to an existing welding laser. That means spatter-free seams and a wider process window for cost-efficient series production, with our partner BBW Lasertechnik.

Upgrades an existing laser to ring-core performance, replacing an expensive ring-core laser with a simple retrofit.
Setup & conditions: copper welding for battery applications, with BBW Lasertechnik. Comparison shows a standard Gaussian beam versus the 3D Ring-Core, each with and without wobbling.
